Today we are introducing Abrams & Luchanski, a strategy and technology consulting firm based in San Diego, California. We advise businesses on complex strategic and operational problems and help implement the solutions.
That second half is the part worth explaining, because it is the reason the firm exists in this shape.
The recommendation is the easy part
Most consulting engagements end at a document. The analysis is sound, the recommendation is right, and then it is handed to the business to carry out — usually to a team that is already at capacity, often to a third party who was not in the room when the trade-offs were decided. What survives that handover is rarely what was recommended.
So we kept the implementation inside the firm. Advisory and delivery report into the same place, which means nothing crosses a commercial boundary halfway through, and the people who scoped the work are the people who see it through.
What the firm does
Three things, described honestly on our services page:
- Strategy & Advisory — growth and operating strategy, financial analysis, strategic planning, and transaction support. The work of deciding what a business should do next, and what it should stop doing.
- Operations & Transformation — process improvement, digital transformation, organizational improvement, systems design, and implementation oversight. Turning a decision into a way of working that holds.
- Technology & AI — advice on where technology genuinely earns its keep, and the build itself.
Nexos is the technology division
The build is delivered by Nexos, the firm's artificial intelligence and software division, which has its own site at nexosai.net. Nexos designs and builds custom software, AI systems, automations and integrations, and the data infrastructure underneath them.
Readers who have followed that work before will know it under a slightly longer name — it was previously Nexos AI, and the shorter one is simply the name it goes by now. Same company, same domain, same team.
The arrangement matters more than the branding. Nexos works alongside Abrams & Luchanski consultants so technical solutions are designed around the business — not the other way around. A recommendation that turns out to need software does not have to be translated for someone else to build; and, just as importantly, an engagement that does not need software gets told so.
How to start
If something in your business is not working the way it should, tell us what you are looking at. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right firm for it — and if the answer is a smaller piece of work than you expected, that is what we will say.
